ENERGY SHOW SUCCESS
It seems crazy that just two weeks ago we were getting ready to exhibit at our first major exhibition; the Energy Show 2017.
At this stage we were sorting the final pieces; our stand was complete and brochures had been printed; therefore it was just down to us to ensure everything ran smoothly and we were as ready as could be.
However, we could not have hoped for a better show. Exhibiting at the UK Construction Week Energy 2017 was indeed a ‘great success’. Not only was the show diverse in attracting people from different backgrounds; domestic, commercial and public; we also made some valuable contacts and even won an award along the way…
SELLING OUR EV-PORT
Right from the start we received a huge interest from visitors and exhibitors alike. In fact, on day two of the show, we actually sold the EV-Port from our stand to a company based in Cardiff, Fibre7.
Fibre7, who specialise in combining technology and nature through resin modification of wood, produce high-performance materials, whilst protecting global forests. Company Director Justin Els, along with his employees, Tabitha and JJ shook hands with us on the stand, and were invited to join us at the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership awards and dinner that evening.
ENERGY 2017’S BEST STAND AWARD
On the final day of the show, we saw a huge increase on footfall and calibre of clientele visiting. It was a non-stop day for the team at Solisco, but we were thrilled with the results. And, to add a layer of sweet icing to the cake, our day ended with being granted Energy 2017’s Best Stand Award!
Having spent an entire week at the NEC, installing, preparing and launching our product, we are soo pleased to have made some highly valuable connections that will no doubt lead us to some great projects for our Solar EV-Port and Grid Innovation rollout.
As a team, we would like to give special thanks to everyone who was involved in the process; our Partners GEWA, Mennekes, Solarwatt, Bluetop, the installation team as well as UKCW organiser Marlon Cera-Marle.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole week and we are especially looking forward to what the future holds.
