At a time where much is needed in the way of sustainable development, we are so pleased to announce that Maureen Geis joins as Business Development and Client Advisor for Solisco in 2020.

Solisco has always had education at the core of it’s values; from starting up in 2016, it was always clear that inspiring change was far more important to us than making quick profits. We knew it was a long shot and we were certainly not in it for a the short term. After the initial years of marketing our ideas, promoting the education around the ecosystem of technologies required to implement future-proofed infrastructure, we are now delighted to be working on some very exciting projects, with both the commercial and public sector, along with some enthusiastic electric vehicle owners, who all wish to turn their spaces into innovative energy hubs.

We are still very much engaged on continuing our efforts in educating and consulting our clients and wider audience, and therefore, Maureen joining our team, couldn’t have come at a better time.

Maureen’s Background

Originally from the USA, Maureen’s background is in Journalism and Public Relations. Maureen worked for a nonprofit organization and was The Mission Co-ordinator of Education for over 150 schools in the Midwest region. Maureen had the opportunity to visit third world countries including Central America and East Africa, and worked closely with missionaries who offered education on the environment such as reforestation and solutions for water shortages. Maureen was a reoccurring contributor to the local press regarding her visits to under privileged and under developed countries.

Maureen has key experience with edcuation, marketing and business development, and is no doubt a people’s person. Her charisma, positive attitude and desire to learn about new innovations and technology makes her a valuable asset to our team.

Mother to four, Maureen devoted eleven years of her motherhood to homeschooling; dedicating her time and efforts to raising her children with their best interests in mind. She describes this experience as “far more rewarding to me personally then all my other accomplishments put together.” Maureen is currently in the process of writing a children’s book which will illustrate the power of young people who are inspired to be creative when it comes to addressing key challenges like energy independence. We are very excited that Maureen has joined Solisco on our mission to promote and inspire sustainable developments!
